January is on its final stretch. February is beginning to beckon. As always, the Station is getting ready to feature a new set of short stories. This time, however, there will be something different. Instead of one contributor picking the choices for everyone to read, the readers themselves will be doing the picking. Yes, you read that right. The short stories for the month of February will be selected by you.
Each of the contributors selected one short story that readers will vote for. To make things more exciting, the choices have been limited to flash fiction, a subset of short stories that are around 1,000 words in length.
Below are the five pieces of flash fiction that the contributors came up with. For now, there is no background information regarding the works and their authors. If you are inclined to do some research, go ahead. But you can also vote using your only literary intuition.
The Station is excited to know what the results will be. Remember, you are voting for not one, but two short stories.
So vote now. This poll will be gone in a flash.
